Hello community,
I upgraded an ASA 5540 from 9.1(7)23 to latest 9.1(7)31.
Sadly at the first boot of .31 interim, the asa not booting up and hung.
After changing boot image back to .23 at ROMMON, the ASA booting up fine.
Did someone have this issue too? I am running latest ADSM 7.9.2.152 too.
Thanks in advance for any hints and help.
Greetings, Chris

Looking through the 9.1(7) release notes, I see there was a bug in the 9.1(7)23 release with similar symptoms:
https://www.cisco.com/web/software/280775065/131523/ASA-917-Interim-Release-Notes.html
https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvh91399
Upgrade of ASA5500 series firewalls results in boot loop (not able to get past ROMMON)
Could you try to run the workaround given in the bug notes and try again? If it fails, I would suggest contacting Cisco TAC for assistance.
