ASA behind Checkpoint FW

Hi,

Does anyone know if there's any known issues regarding using an ASA to connect directly to a Checkpoint Firewall. I'm trying to set up a test network from a 6509 connecting to an ASA, then directly to a Nokia Checkpoint, then to the outside.

The ASA appears to be blocking TCP connections even though all interface ACLs are set to allow all...

Hi,

Please be aware that you also need to allow access by configuring static nat..

static (inside,outside) X.X.X.X Y.Y.Y.Y netmask C.C.C.C

where X is the IP address as it appears outside of the Firewall

y is the IP address as it appears inside the firewall

mask identifies whether is is a host or a range of addresses ..ie. a full segment
