In ASA firewall is there a provision to define ACL rules based on Application ID apart from source/destination IP Address? In other firewalls I have seen access rules based on service/application GUID along with source/destination IP.

i quickly checked application detectors on firepower and no where does it mention GUIDs, so i would say no. ASA seriously doubt it. at least I have never come across it

Can you give us an example from other firewalls so we will understand this request better?

Checkpoint has the capability to identify the RPC based application based on GUID
