Hello Guy,

Do anyone know how to check the existing the config-register on the ASA firewall please.

when one of my HA firewalls reboots it goes to ROMON mode and I have to manually do boot to boot it up.

How can i solve this issue please?

I'm using ASA built in firepower 2K

Best Regards,

SS

Use "confreg 0x1" to set the value and then "reboot" from the ROMMON mode. Also, "confreg" from the ROMMON mode can be used to check the config-register value.

Hello MHM,

It didn't work. I was wondering if we could check it on ASA like we do it on cisco router when we do show version

if you can access via console from

firepower> show version system
this give you the register  you now use

Hello Tvvona,

I did that and it solved a problem, but i wanted to check the existing configreg before i make any changes. because the fiirepower box was bran new it was not used in productions before.

"confreg" alone should print the value and then allow you to modify it.
