Hi,
Moving from 8.2.5 to any version higher would require many configuration changes.
Refer to this for more information:-
https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/48646/asa-83-upgrade-what-you-need-know
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/asa83/upgrading/migrating.html
Also , I would recommend upgrading the ASA with 8.0.5 to ASA 8.2.5 as ASA 8.0 is EOL:-
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/asa-5500-series-next-generation-firewalls/end_of_life_c51-682452.html
This should be a minor upgrade.

Upgrading from the ASA 8.0.5 to ASA 8.2.5 should be minor.
Do you have two ASA unit running 8.0.5 that you would be upgrading or is it a standalone device ?
Thanks and Regards,

Hi,
I think you should check the document that i gave you previously if you want to upgrade to any version higher than 8.2.
For the ASA device upgrade from ASA 8.0.5 to ASA 8.2.5 , you should not have any issues.
Thank and Regards,
