Hi,
I need to change the ip address of the management interface but I can´t.
I have this error when I try in ASDM:
assertion "t->stack[0] == STKINIT" failed: file "thread.c" line 743
I see the error in the console.
ASA 5505
ASA: 8.2(1)
ASDM: 6.2 (1)
thanks a lot.

Can you make the change via the Command-Line?
Just to make sure it works... might be an issue with ASDM...
Federico.

To upgrade to 8.3 you need to make sure the ASA has the enough memory.
There are heavy configuration changes, so I'll recommend you yo go over the release notes prior the upgrade.
If you have a SmartNet for the ASA or some sort of contract you should be able to download images.
Federico.

The asa has 512 MB and 128 MB flash.
I don´t hace SmartNet but the firewall is new...
The only legal way to getIOS is paying?
thanks a lot.
