I have the configuration file of the ASA 5505 I have another exactly model that asa is new but this my first time working with an ASA.
I going to configure it an ip address in the 0/0 interface and then use TFTP to upload the config to the start-up config and the save it and reload the ASA
is that enough? or the ASA has extra steps??

Hello Gerson,
you can do that , make sure that the interface numbering are same.. and also once it rebooted you may need to no shut all the interfaces manually..
anothe way to do this is to copy paste the configuration from the global configuration mode
Hope it helps
Harish
