Hi all I'm getting a some funny characters after i issues a command to apply a 'match ip address' command, im connected via SSH. I have tried using putty and tera term.
These show up when you issue SHOW RUN, they are preventing the config from being fully written to start-up, as it hits these characters and stops.
See below in bold
ASA5525X
Version 8.6(1)2
Any ideas?
route-map ALLOW_SUBNETS_REDIST permit 10
match ip address prefix-list PREFIX_1 ÿÿÿÿ
prefix-list PREFIX_1 seq 5 permit x.x.x.x/8
prefix-list PREFIX_1 seq 6 permit x.x.x.x/23
prefix-list PREFIX_1 seq 7 permit x.x.x.x/23
prefix-list PREFIX_1 seq 8 permit x.x.x.x/24
prefix-list PREFIX_1 seq 9 permit x.x.x.x/24
Thanks

I have had some issues with putty sending strange charecters, but never with any Cisco device. I have never found a fix..
