Hello,
Does someome know the license process when running ASA code on a 4100 chassi?
I understand that the license method is a bit different comparing when you run ASA code on smaller firewalls, like the 2100 with built-in FXOS, but the documentation is a bit vague about the process to register the device.
Should I register the token in chassis manager or in the FXOS CLI? Do I need to register the tooken in the ASA cli as well?
Thanks

You should register the token within the chassis manager GUI. There is no need to register within the ASA CLI. The FX-OS handles all of that.

Thanks. I was just reading this document https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/asa919/configuration/general/asa-919-general-config/intro-license-smart.html#id_54456 and if I understandt it correct, I need to add the ASA feature tier licens from the ASA CLI. For example if I want to add a multicontext license. Is this correct?

Thank you @ahollifield We were able to register FX-OS to the smart portal and also add the required features on the ASA.
The customer is running over 200 contexts, so unfortunately FTD is not an option in this case.
