Hi,
did not find any information in syslog related to the crash or reboot .
Do we need really need to update the logging level ,
for example 101001 (%ASA-1-101001: (Primary) Failover cable OK.)
is set to alerts . Is there any benefit of changing logging level of this 101001 to informational.
Any advise ?
Thanks

As per the syslog messages.
Error Message %ASA-1-101001: (Primary) Failover cable OK.
Explanation The failover cable is present and functioning correctly. Primary can also be listed as Secondary for the secondary unit.
Recommended Action None required.

Hi,
What I mean by default cisco has set this to 'alert' and given an option to change to another logging level ( for eg from 'alert' to 'informational)'
My question what is the point of changing this from alert to informational or what more extra detail will get if I change to informational ? .
Thanks

Is the log generated 1 time, or keep recurring in the Logs ?
