ASA system file transfer to new one.

Hi All,

I have one ASA5520 which has no image & have refused to load image using TFTP through ROMMON.

I have tried multiple image files & using different TFTP server. It always end up giving me check sum error at launch after transfer.

I have another 5520 which is in use & working fine..Is there any way i can transfer full system (including image, asdm etc..) from this ASA to one which has problem..

Any suggestions welcome..

Hi argagan01,

You can copy image with card reader. Connect card reader to PC and remove asa flash and copy from pc to flash. Or you can upload image using Xmodem but it takes more time
