ASA- Telnet and SSH Session Timeout

I have an ASA running v7.1 code and I recently added the command "sysopt connection timewait" which fixed a problem I was having. But now my telnet and SSH connection to the ASA will timeout in about 10 seconds, if I remove the command then the telnet and SSH sessions timeout in five minutes which is what I have configured. Has anyone seen this and is this a bug?

Though not sure about the bug at this point of time, you can manually configure up the timers for both telnet and ssh using the below mentioned commands..

telnet timeout minutes

ssh timeout minutes
