ASA5525-X CX recommended versions for both

Fraser010

Hi All,

This is my first post on the site. We just purchased a 5525-X CX model with version 9.1(3) on the ASA and version 9.2.1.1(48) on the CX to replace our old ASA 5510. I would like to know what the current recommended stable versions are for both the ASA and the CX.

Thanks

Marius

Hi,

I think you should look to upgrade the CX:- 9.3.2.1-9 and the ASA device to :- 9.1.5 as you are already on this 9.1.5.x train.

The Latest suggested image is 9.2.2.4.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi,

Thanks a lot I think I will load 9.1.5 and 9.3.

Have a great day everyone.

Marius.

My favorite ASA version is 9.1(5). Last week I didn't have much luck installing CX 9.3, but 9.2.1.4 should be fine (I'm still running 9.2.1.3).

I concur with Vibhor.

The ASA CX software has a lot of bug fixes incorporated in the incremental releases. It's best with the latest available. I've installed CX version 9.3(2.1) Build 9 on several systems.

ASA 9.1(5) will be fine with that CX version.

Hi Marvin,

ok. I think I'll give 9.3 another try ...
