ASDM Demo

Hi Experts,

Good Day!

I have an issue regarding my demo version of ASDM, after installing it I can't run the demo mode. When I checked the demo subfolder in the ASDM folder, there are no files in it.

Do you know how to resolve this issue? I need this for learning purposes.

Can you tell use exactly what file you downloaded and installed from? You would need to use the msi (Microsoft Installer) version to get the full demo functionality.

The most current available version (as of 1 January 2015) is "asdm-demo-731.msi".

Thanks for the reply but it is now working, I just downgraded my current Java to 7 instead of 8 and everything works fine now as far as the demo mode of ASDM is concerned.

OK.

For what it's worth, the current ASDM demo versions work fine with Java 8 (for me at least).
