ASDM not getting installed on my system

Hello,

I have access to my ASA 5540 firewall remotely but I am unable to access the webpage when i use this address to install ASDM

https://x.x.x.x (IP of my ASA FW)

http server is enabled on my firewall as well

it also gives me results when i run this command on my FW : show run asdm

what could be the problem?

Hi Kunal,

You have mentioned that you are able to connect to the firewall remotely. Are you referring to remote VPN to connect to ASA ?

You can try a different port on ASA for https access by command:

http server enable port-number

Also enable http debug and check what error you are getting on ASA.

debug http 255.

Yes its a remote VPN to connect to ASA

and I am using that Nat VPN IP in address bar to reach out to install ASDM

but unable!
