Hello Folks,
I'm getting error "Error: AutoUpdate exception: TLS connection failed setup [4,0]" while performing auto update on my IPS module..
Anyone has come across similar issue in past..
Thanks.

From the IPS itself, do you have access to the internet?
Mike.

You need to have IPS 7.1(11)E4 or 7.3(5)E4 or later in order to update since earlier this year when Cisco switched to SHA2 certificates.

Thanks Marvin,
I will download IPS version IPS-SSM_10-K9-patch-7.1-11p1-E4.pkg and I'm sure it will resolve auto update issue. I will keep you posted after implementation.

Auto update signature is working now but I lost the connectivity with Cisco IPS Express Manager..
It's SSM-10 module so I can access from Fw but IPS Express Manager is not able to retrieve configuration from issue. Please assist.

What version of IME are you using?
I have IME 7.2.7 and it is working fine here.

I've 7.2.3, it should support correct ?

According to the readme for 7.2.3 (http://www.cisco.com/web/software/282829584/93276/IME-7.2.3.readme.txt):
IME 7.2.3 introduces the following new features: - Support for IPS 7.1(5)E4
If you are running a later version like your 7.1(11) you would need a later version of IME.
The later versions' readme files don't specifically mention the later 7.1(x) releases but I would think it would be a safe path to go ahead and upgrade IME. It can be downloaded here:
