Hello,
I am using Cisco Security Manager 4.0.1 with the Auto Update installed.
I've configured my firewall with the following commands:
auto-update device-id hardware-serial
auto-update poll-period 1
auto-update server https://*@10.1.0.102/autoupdate source LAN1
(by the way, the username and password you specify in this last command is the one I use to log in to the CSM??)
I've enabled the debugging:
debug auto-update client
and I all get is the following output every 1 minute:
Auto-update client: Sent DeviceDetails to /autoupdate of server 10.1.0.102
Auto-update client: Failed to contact: https://10.1.0.102/autoupdate, reason: HTTP response: Found
And of course the ASA doesn't appear in the Auto Update device list on my CSM server...
What can I do?
thanks!!

hum, ok I've found why....
The default Auto Update Server URL in 4.0.1 is /autoupdate/AutoUpdateServlet but in the ASDM in which I've configured the AUS, by default it is only /autoupdate ...
