Can i control the p2p grid system using Firepower?

Hi all

i'am using the FP 7000 Series.

internal user is having a problem because of the malicious p2p grid system.

Can i control the p2p grid system using Firepower?  (p2p grid name : winnetplus.exe)

I do not know Firepower supports this feature.

Hi There,

I suppose you are trying to block p2p traffic through firepower. You can use application block option with access control rules to block "peer to peer" category in there and block it.

You can make a custom Application detector if you are up for the challenge. :)
