to a router/gateway on my LAN? Basically the PIX is the default gateway for my LAN. I have a router installed by a vendor that is a gateway to the vendor's network. If I add a static route to the PIX it allows the PIX to reach those subnets but the PIX won't redirect any of my PCs to the vendor's router. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Diego

if the router is on the same interface as your LAN, then to redirect IP traffic on tje same interface on ASA, you will have to use IOS 7.2 or later and use the command
same-security-traffic permit intra-interface

Thank you sir. Now all I gotta do is see if I can get my little 506 PIX with 8/32 to run 7.2.
Again thanks,

As per the compatibility matrix, your 506 won't support 7.2.

I hadn't a chance to check but I was expecting that to be the case.
Thank you very much for your help.
