Hi,
I am trying to create a user test with privlage level 3 with the permission only to see show running-config.
Commands are as below.
LIMS#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
LIMS(config)#privilege exec level 3 show running-config
LIMS(config)#username test privilege 3 password cisco
LIMS(config)#exit
LIMS(config)#enable secret level 3 0 cisco
LIMS
The output I am getting - when I type show running-config, I am not getting the complete running configuarion
LIMS>en 3

LIMS#show running-config

My requirement : need to create a user test. And the user " test" should see only "show running-config"

what device model and IOS code running on it.,
You need to uplift the user level to get more information - there are different ways to do. (depends local / AAA authentication method you using)
understad the privilege levels.
