Hello, I've noticed that I cant create vlan interfaces on this model but I use to be able to on older model like the ASA5505. Has this been changed ? I'm new to the X series. what's the equivalent of doing this on the 5555-X ?

What do you mean I don't need to make any changes on the firewall ? what about assigning the inside interface ? security level ? Can you please post the complete configs ? there will be servers that will be assigned static IPs in those subnets. What default gateway IP are they going to use ? Thanks

here is coming interesting discussion - back to squire where this post started.
1. we have asked to give configuration, you mentioned there is nothing.
2. we have asked to provide a switch and ASA configuration how that was configured (you come with an answer nothing other than VLAN information provided after several requests)
We need to understand this your environment, we are not sure how this is configured and working.
as per the Logical diagram, all DC VLAN servers connected to FEX, Nexus handling Layer 3 HSRP for the gateway, and default gateway pointing to ASA FW this is was my understanding so hence the suggestion made in the post.
what about assigning the inside interface ?
- what Interface configured- how it configured now
security level ?
- if you have only 1 inside interface so we expected all inside security level
Can you please post the complete configs ?
- until we see you full config - i am afraid we can able to address or suggest any config.
we only help based on the information, we can not or assume what is configured and working.
