CCO account settings in configuration

Hi,

When exporting configuration with the 'copy current-config' command the CCO password for auto-update is visible.

Anyone know if there is a way to remove/encrypt/hide the password in that file?

The password is not visible in CLI with 'show config' or 'conf t_service host_auto-upgrade_show settings'  that I can see.

IPS 4200 with 7.0(6) E4

Regards

Mikael

Hello,

You can always gather the output of the "show config" command.  If captured through a SSH client, you will see the Generating current config:/  animations.  However the password for the CCO login will not show.  The other option would be to use a script to run through and remove that information once the file is deposited on the destination system.

Those are really your only options.  Hope that helps.

Thanks

David
