Checkpoint to PIX Migration

I am planning a migration from a Checkpoint Firewall box to a PIX firewall. Has anyone seen a tool or worked up a procedure for translating a Checkpoint rule set into something a PIX or human can understand?

This functionalit is generally handled via a 3rd party partnet called Solsoft - http://www.solsoft.com/pages/home/home.php

I have never used this service so I don't know much about it. I just wanted to give you something since I had not seen anyone else offering any information on this post.

So, I have to ask, and this is not a statement as to which firewall is better:

What were your reasons for switching?

I have done this before but cannot offer you any easy solution. It was very manual. We found the fwrules perl script really good for documenting the config of the Checkpoint environment.
