We have purchased new cisco firewall 5525-X. As per Cisco we can configure multi context on firewall. But here we are using it as a standalone firewall. Can we configure firewall in ACTIVE/ACTIVE failover even if we configure it as a standalone firewall?

Hi,
No , this is not possible.
You can only configure Active/Active using two different ASA chassis and actually Active/Active also acts something close to Active/Standby using two different failover configured and they share the traffic on two chassis.

Hello Vibhor,
We have two ASA firewalls, we are not using multi context but using single context. With this single context can we configure firewall in active/active failover?

Hi,
No , you can only configure Active/Active HA using Multiple context on the way it works requires multiple context.
