customer asked that he want to ping/telnet ACE VIP from PROD server, is it recommended ?
if so how to do that
Hi Mohammad,
That should be fine , As they would like to to monitor connectivity and wants to check for some troubleshooting purposes.
You can enable ping for the VIP (the default is to not respond to ping). Via the GUI, edit the VIP in Advanced mode to see the various options for ICMP reply.
