I have configured  remote access vpn in asa 5505 when i tray to connect remotely i am getting this error

Secure VPN connection terminated locally by the Client. Reason 412: The remote peer is no longer responding"

Hi,

I assume this is some kind of test setup?

Why is the configration IP address of ASAs outside interface 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 ? Have you changed it just to mask the original public IP address?

The error message seems to state that the local computer cant connect to the ASA. Can you ping the outside interface of the ASA? (Allow it with the command "icmp permit if needed)

Hello Narasimha,

As Jouni, said, it is a ip reachability issue between client and ASA. It is expected as your ASA outside interface has been configured with 0.0.0.0 IP address. Change that to some valid IP and configure the default route also as per the setup.

the it should get connected.
