I have 2-3845 routers, 2-4948 switches, and 2-5520 ASAs and want to design a fully redundant DR site with this equipment. I have a topology designed but I'm not an ASA expert and want to know if the ASAs can be used with the equipment listed above to provide full redundancy with OSPF as the IGP. Basic topology is:
ISP1 (hot) ISP1(warm)

ASA1--------F.O.--------ASA2

3845-PRI HSRP 3845-STANDBY

4948-------------------4948
The 4948 are also directly connected to the ASA's.
Thanks,
cc

Hi,
Yes..it's possible.
Look at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa72/configuration/guide/ip.html#wp1094564
I hope this helps.
Best regards.
Massimiliano.
