Hi All,

I have a newly upgraded 5555-x.

There has been a reported vunerability apparently.

Can someone tell me what are the latest versions pls and if you don't mind if I need to how best to patch / update.

Running Tools, Check for ASA/ASDM updates says all up to date

I have tried to find out via the CISCO downloads site but find it very confusing...

Logged into the ASDM I am running:

ASA Version 9.14(1)

ADSM 7.14(1)

Firepower Software 6.2.2-81

VDB 271

Rule Update 2016-11-29-00.vrt

Cheers,

Slip

Hi,

By the looks of it your ASA and ASDM software are up to date, however you are running Firepower Services which is out of date (6.2.2) - here is the download link for the upgrade, 6.4.0.7 is the latest recommended version.

https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286271174/type/286277393/release/6.4.0.7

You will first need to upgrade to the major version 6.4.0.0 then apply the patch 6.4.0.7

Here is the upgrade guide

Rob,

Worked so far 6.4.0 installed now trying 6.4.0.9..

Is there a way to monitor the status, I presume via the CLI as when running the update via ASDM you eventually get booted out, and have to wait for all the Firepower tabs to come back, loading ASDM every so often with fingers crossed.

Just updated to 6.4.0.9..

Cheers

@Rob Ingram

Morning. I notice there are a whole host of ASA updates (the ASDM check for updates option finds them), up to ver 9.14.1 it seems.

Do I just go through the upgrade wizard one by one, and are they all OK to apply ?
