Cisco ASA hardware migration from 5510 to 5508-x

Hi All,

I am panning to migrate firewall from Old hardware (5510) to new (5508-x). old hardware is running with IOS version 8.4(7)30 and new with 9.5(1)

My question is

Can I directly upload old configuration ( after changing Interface details only) to new firewall as current IOS version is above 8.3 ?

Hi,

There are no major changes regarding nat rules and acl on the ASA from 8.4(7)30 to 9.5(1). You should be fine.
