Cisco ASA - Syslog. Forward all logs to syslog server

Hello all,

Good day. I'm looking for a way to forward all logs (regardless type of messages generated) to our syslog servers. How to do it via ASDM ?

Thanks very much.

Alex

Hi Alex,

Please check the screenshot attached.

You need to first of all enable logging on the ASDM.

Then under syslog server select the syslog server you need to send the logs to.

Make sure the server is reachable from the ASA.

Equivalent ASA CLI config:

logging enable

logging trap debugging

logging host inside <server ip>

Aditya

Hi Alexander

On your your ASDM, Configuration, Device Management, Logging and then Syslog servers. Click add and you can enter the info from there.
