please does anyone have an idea, how FMC determines Hostname of any host in Host profiles? I cant find anything about it in admin guide. There is only written: if known.
I wanted to chime in and say that I'm having this issue as well.
One Firepower shows the reverse DNS record of my public IP for all locally addressed devices and another lacks hostnames entirely. How does FMC resolve local hostnames?
