Just a quick one hopefully. I might need to set a 1010 or similar in a remote office.
Can the initial setup still just be done vis the console cable and CLI ?

@Richard Tapp On the ASA you can configure everything from the CLI, you don't necessarily need to use ASDM.
You don't need to use the mgmt interface, just apply the configuration to allow mgmt from the inside interface, that can be configured via the CLI.
asdm image disk:0/asdm-7181-161.bin http server enable 443 http 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 INSIDE

As I know unfortunately Yes you need to use console for first time
After apply mgmt IP you can access via fdm or fmc.

Thanks, I want to use console and then ASDM to manage the device. We usually mange our devices from the Inside interface, would I still need to set a the MGT interface ?

I am just going to be using ASA for Ancyconnect, I am much happier using CLI and ASDM, so as long as I can do that I will be happy
