Dears,

Please correct me if I m wrong

Cisco AMP is called a cisco sandboxing ??? which means it can be cloud as well as on premises sandboxing for file attachments when they pass from the FTD device. On premises sandboxing is done by AMP products ??? such as AMP7150  till AMP8390

what is Cisco Thread Grid

Cisco thread grid does  advanced sandboxing on premises and on cloud

what is next generation IPS ??

The ASA 5520  IPS-20 module was doing different than the today's IPS , previous we use to upgrade signatures and not we are updating rules in the FTD, so what is the difference between a IPS and NGIPS

AMP and sandboxing means, that if any possible malicious content is identified and loaded onto the Cisco Sandbox, for it to be analyzed and marked as malware, if neccesary, so that NGFWs can consequently block it, based on the fingerprint of the data
