Hi I have upgraded LMS 2.2 to 2.5 recently. We decided to remove all the old devices as there were inconsistencies, and do a device discovery. We have approx 1500 devices to discover.
My issue is:
When I ran device discovery it never finished (still running). I then raised a TAC case to find out what was going on.
I was told to modify a file named DeviceDiscovery.properties, change DeviceDiscovery.status=Running to DeviceDiscovery.status=idle and then restart the services.
This all worked fine I went into Campus Manager Admin and device discovery was idle. I then started device discovery and I got a message.
Device Discovery already in progress.
Does anyone know of anythong else I can do?
We had already lost confidence in this product and were told 2.5 was much better than 2.2. Not off to a good start.
