can a router have more than 1 snmp community string both for RO & RW? if yes, then which command to configure to assign one as default. what will be the implications? the string are mentioned below.
snmp-server community nms RW
snmp-server community canms RO
snmp-server community private RW
snmp-server community public RO

Unless you plan to use views for multiple strings, there isn't mucu use to have multiple strings. Also, there is no such thing as a default string.

pls. clarify, is there any implication on router performance apart from security point for whole n/w. for view u mean that i should configure view for restriction i.e. "snmp-server community view 'string' v1default ro" command.
