Connecting to Failover ASA

I have a pair of ASA 5540's and would like to connect to my secondary (failover) unit. Is it possible to do it without consoling in? I'm using Active\Standby with a LAN failover cable.

The reason is I upgraded the ASDM on the active one and not sure if it automatically replicates to the failover one.

it does not automatically replicated to the secondary one.

You should be able to telnet/ssh/https to its failover IP.

just to add to this...files in flash do not transfer over. however the asa determines which asdm version to use via the "asdm image disk0:image.bin" command. this command gets replicated. so if both ASA have the appropriate asdm image file (which is a manual process) then you should be able to asdm to the secondary asa by putting its ip in the client.
