Hello, everyone
i am looking to create a backup of my current Cisco Firepower Management Center for VMware, Version 6.5.0.4
The current server the VM sits on needs maintenance done to it, one of the drives failed and because of the age of the server the manufacturer does not create the same drives anymore. so i am planning to move everything to an SSD drive that works on said server.
I have the following of my Current FMC backup VM
Am i missing anything? or am i doing something that shouldn't be done
Thank you for your time

Check if ESXi is going to a lower version. Have any issues
Hope you are backup and restoring on the new FMC (6.5 is quite old) - that is ok if your requirement is that.
Make sure you have the FTD connection manager established to test policies and logs

Everything is mostly good, just for some reason the Threat and Data updates on Devices is showing up as an Alert. Not Critical but "Warning" i don't understand how though, everything is exactly the same as the main FMC (Which is currently shut down and being exported to a Backup Storage server)

I did this recently by exporting the FMC configuration and then cloning the VM. Worked well but i made sure to test the backup before making any changes on the primary VM.

Other than the Threat Data Updates on Devices warning that won't go away, everything is functioning as expected.

Okay, so after doing the usual testing, i went ahead and created a test rule on a Lab PC to check the access rules to make sure they were working as intended. Once i verified the rule was working after deployment the Threat Data Updates on Devices warning went away. i don't know how, or why.
so everything is working as intended, This thread can be closed Thank you Chloe Harper and Balaji.Bandi
