This does not seem possible but I will like to verify if this can be achieved.
I want to create a group e.g. NMS and have that group associated with 5 IP addresses of different NMS on my network. Then I want to configure the ASA to just allow any IP from that NMS group to poll it.
So I can always just update the IP addresses on the object and not bother about the individual snmp host.
The
snmp-server group group-name v3 [auth | noauth | priv]
says its version 3 only and it does not even look like it can achieve what I want.
Thanks

No, unfortunately you have already answered your own question. You can't configure object-group and apply it to the snmp host command.
