We also have this issue running FMC 7.6.0 which is not on the list of known issues. I've engaged with cisco TAC and they have a workaround.

Once TAC logged in in passed but then failed in another spot "Fatal error while upgrading at 000_start/120_check_legacy_private_cloud_for_ampkit.pl." Which is another bug https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCwn39923. The fix is to run the readiness check from CLI if it passes then upgrade via CLI.

When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '

Which my FMC passed, via a CLI readiness check.
