CW Auto Update connections

I have CW CSM deployed to manage the Pix and ASA firewalls deployed in the company. I have added the firewalls to AUS but some of them will not talk to the Update server. I have a dozen or so that will talk fine, get their updates and remain sync'd but the others do not appear to be contacting the AUS system.

I get an error on the firewalls of one of these two:

Jan 23 06:43:03 [x.x.x.x.2.2] <device name> %PIX-4-612003: Auto Update failed to contact: https://137.51.x.x/autoupdate/autoupdateservlet, reason: HTTP POST failed

OR

Jan 23 04:11:10 [x.x.x.x.2.2] <device anme> PIX-4-612003: Auto Update failed to contact: https://137.51.x.x/autoupdate/autoupdateservlet, reason: HTTP response failed

The firewall configuration is:

auto-update device-id ipaddress inside

auto-update server https://********@137.51.x.x/autoupdate/autoupdateservlet

I have searched through the forums, run the output through the error message decoder, and tried all I can think of with no success. I have reinstalled CSM and also reconfigured AUS with no improvements. Does anyone have any good (or even bad) ideas?

Thanks for the help,

Jerry

I think the Cisco ASA cannot be configured as auto update server. Here is the link which tells about the list of devices supports the auto update server feature.
