Not in any way that's supported. The Web UI is the supported method.
You might be able to hack it into working as it's "just" a shell script - albeit a long and complicated one.
Personally I wouldn't try it on a production system - only in a lab. When you break database and Linux systems, it can be very ugly and impossible to recover from.
