Good day All

I have FMC and FTD issue. The sftunnel is established between them however, when i try to deploy from FMC i keep getting this error message " Deployment failed due to failure in retrieving running config info from device. Please check connectivity with the device and retry deployment"

please anyone with a resolution guide. please help.

- Check /var/opt/CSCOpx/MDC/log/operation/vmsbesvcs.log , when that happens ,

Make sure the date and time are correct in both the FTD and the FMC and then try to check the secure tunnel on the FTD with the "sftunnel_status.pl" and if it shows down then try to restart it by running the "manage_procs.pl" and select option number 3. These tools need to be run from the expert mode.

Another thing to check is the VDB version on the FTDs and if it matches that which is installed on the FMC.
