dhcprelay agent failing on 5505

When I try to enable dhcprelay in ASDM I get an error message also when I do it through CLI it lets me put the command in but it doesn't actually take it.

Any idea why I'm getting the error?

Hello Erik,

Do you have the DHCP server functionality enabled on the inside interface?

Is that's the case it will not work!

You have to use either DHCP server or DHCP Relay

Did you get this resolved? I have the same problem, and the error message from the CLI says;

DHCP: Interface 'inside' is currently configured as CLIENT and cannot be changed to a RELAY SERVER by a RELAY feature

I had several firewalls behaving this way and a reload fixed all but two.
