Hi,appreciate help on this.
config
interface inside 172.16.x.x 255.255.x.x sec100
interface e4 172.16.x.x. 255.25.x.x sec10
I have a router (172.16.25.194) that's connected directly to the Pix e3 interface
I need any host from the inside interface to be able to telnet to the router.
I have enabled telnet on the router
line vty 0 4
login
password *****
I can ping the router from a host in the inside interface. However i can't get a successful telnet connection.
Pls advise.

Assuming you cam ping form inside interface, do you also have access-list either on 3rd. or inside interfaces.
Have you tried to troubleshoot this with the debug packet 3rd. interface name src inside host dst router_ip_add?
or debug packet inside src_host_ip dst router_ip?.
Does the router has an acl that is denying this traffic?.
