i did some research and found some article saying mutli-vendor FW is outdated and should not be used anymore. Saying that with NGFW, its okay to use single vendor .

I didn't see any guide reference to use multi vendor or single vendor. But i know alot of customer are still using multi-vendor and they said to get more secure. is it correct ?
what are your security expert opinion? let me know any references or guide line that support multi vendor / single vendor ?
i want to know security point of view only.i didn't care about complexity ,cost and centralized management.
