I'm just wondering whether ASA has something similar to a crashinfo or a built-in log storage that would show the reason why it reloaded? Thanks!

Hello Andrew,
Yes, It does.
If you apply the command Show Crashinfo you are going to get the outpout you are looking for, this to display the contents of the crash file stored in the Flash memory of the ASA.

Hi jcarvaja,
Do you happen to know what other log(s) would show why the ASA reloaded aside from the crashinfo? Our ASA reloaded and did not generate any crashinfo in flash. Thanks a bunch!

hello Andrew,
What version are you running?
Have you make any changes on the configuration or in your IOS image?
And the way you can troubleshoot this without a crash info is with the Syslog logs.
Do you have this enabled ( Logs ) when you have the issue so We can take a look at this loggs ?

Adding to what Julio Said,
If your ASA is crashing with no Crash Info on it and you have verified that there is no power issueso n the building etc. Please proceed to open a tac case, we may need to collect more info.
Mike.
