Does PIX support supernetting? For example, can I configure a PIX interface as 192.168.0.0 255.255.252.0? I currently have 192.168.0.0/24 configured. But I need a larger range, and am hoping to change it to 192.168.0.0/22. My PIX OS is 6.3(1).
Thank you!

may i suggest you to upgrade the os, as 6.3(1) has some major bugs.

Yes. We plan to upgrade the PIX OS in the near future. Which version you would recommend for PIX 515? V7.0?
Thanks.

v7 upgrade has been postponed in our company, as it may introduce major issues. so we decided to deploy v7 in a lab environment for the mean time
current os in production includes 6.3(3) and 6.3(4)

I was told v7 is more IOS like. But might not support all the old commands. So working in a lab environment first is a better idea. Thanks gents for the inputs!
