Error while trying to import a ver 4.x sensor into IDSMC 2.2.1

While trying to import a version 4.x sensor into IDSMC 2.2.1, I get the following error:

Import of sensor 10.42.46.35 failed.

Error : Error importing configuration files from the sensor - Unable to import sensor config using RDEP: java.lang.Exception: An error occurred while trying to determine the sensor version. Detail = XPathHelper.newNode(/response/respGetVersion/partition[@name="application"]/buildVersion) caught: org.jdom.IllegalNameException: The name "partition[@name=" is not legal for JDOM/XML elements: XML names cannot contain the character "[".

I checked the hostname asssigned to the sensor and do not find a "[" character in it.

Anyone able to help me?

I have found that it is always a good idea to verify that the VMS server is listed as a trusted host on the sensor.

I'm sorry...I failed to mention that I did check to make sure the VMS/IDSMC is listed as a trusted host on the sensor, as well as an allowed host.
