Failed to locate egress interface

Failed to locate egress interface for UDP from inside:172.16.1.4/53104 to X.X.X.X /53 was a syslog message in ASA Software Version 8.0(3),

all the access-list and Natting are fine and even found the traffic is passing other time.

what could be the possible issue for the same.

Are you using DHCP on the ASA?

If so, on the interface connected to your internet device, do you have the command:

ip address dhcp setroute

hi,

iam not using any niether dhcp on the outside interface nor inside interface.the traffic is following normally after this syslog event.I want to find out what could be the reason for this event at that particular time.
