Hello,
is it possible to have a PIX cable failover with a PIX 6.2 and a PIX 6.3?

I don't believe so. All pix docs that I have read with regards to failover, indicate that both units need to be at the same level of code, probably to make sure that nothing gets misinterpreted across the failover link (meaining the serial, lan, and stateful failover links).

No is not possible as you can read on the cisco web site
<< Using a pair of identical PIX devices (model, memory, network interface cards (NICs), operating system versions), high availability can be provided with no operator intervention>>
If you use different version there will be some problem with the negotiation and durign the switchover.
